ELLIS COUNTY – Two run-off elections are coming up, the first for the District Judge 443rd seat is May 28th.Candidate’s Greg Wilhelm and Grace Pandithurai will face one another in primary run-off with early voting beginning Monday, May 20 to May 24.

ELLIS COUNTY – The Ellis County Commissioners approved a 75% for seven years/100% for seven years on personal property tax abatement with Databank Datacenters, LLC in a unanimous vote at the most recent Commissioner’s Court meeting.

Ellis County Court House set for slight facelift

ELLIS COUNTY – The Ellis County Commissioners Court approved a resolution unanimously to apply for a Texas Historic Courthouse Preservation Program for emergency repairs to the historic Ellis County Courthouse.

AgTexas Farm Credit awards $17,000 in local scholarships

Granbury – On Tuesday evening, April 9 – the day following the total solar eclipse, AgTexas Farm Credit Services brightened a lot of smiles by awarding $17,000 in scholarships at its ninth annual AgTexas Ag Youth Scholarship awards program at the Lake Granbury Conference Center.

NORTHBOUND I-45 NARROWS NEAR US 175 STARTING FRIDAY IN DALLAS

DALLAS – Weather permitting, northbound Interstate 45 (I-45) will be narrowed to one lane from Lamar Street (near the US 175 junction) to near the Interstate 30 (I-30) junction from 8 p.m. Friday, May 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, May 20 for an ongoing bridge maintenance project.
