Thieves threw a brick though the entry door at the Covenant Church in Ferris around midnight Sunday, Aug. 18.
A surveillance video showed two male suspects stealing a KORG and a YAMAHA keyboard, together valued at $4,000.

WILMER MAN FOUND DEAD INSIDE APARTMENT AFTER SWAT STANDOFF

WILMER – A standoff with a Wilmer man and the Wilmer Police and Dallas County Sheriff Department’s Tactical Team ended with the man’s suicide.
The Wilmer resident, whose name has not been released, shot himself Aug. 7 at around 3 a.m. at the Emili Liberty Crossing Apartments.
