Tuesday, June 16 upcoming traffic switch on I-35E in Waxahachie

ELLIS COUNTY – Weather permitting, The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will be closing the northbound mainlanes of Interstate 35E (I-35E) in Waxahachie on Tuesday, June 16 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. to perform a traffic switch.

EC protests, counter protests draw crowds over weekend

WAXAHACHIE – Last week’s protests in Ellis County began on Thursday in front of the Ellis County African American Hall of Fame on Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.  Dr. Jamel Rasheed, founder of the museum said before the march began, “We can do this peacefully.” They did.

K9 graduation held in Red Oak Friday, May 12

RED OAK – The Sector K9 Foundation Detection Dog graduation program will be held this Friday at the First Baptist Church in Red Oak at 10:30 a.m. There will be several K9 detection dog teams from across the United States graduating during the ceremony this weekend.
