WAXAHACHIE – The Ellis County Republican Women Candidate Forum on Jan. 25 will not be broadcast on KBEC as previously announced. KBEC said their broadcast unit has been damaged and won’t be repaired in time for the forum.Ken Roberts will still be facilitating the event.

ROISD BOARD ELECTION IS MAY 4

RED OAK – Candidate filing and voting dates have been set for the 2024 Red Oak Independent School District’s Board of Trustee election. The Board election will be held on Saturday, May 4. The election will consist of a general election for Place 6 and Place 7 each for a three-year term.
