What Is Juneteenth?

Juneteenth (short for “June Nineteenth”) marks the day when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas in 1865 to take control of the state and ensure that all enslaved people be freed. The troops’ arrival came a full two and a half years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation.

Taking care of teeth brings families peace of mind

STATEPOINT – Tooth decay is the most common preventable chronic disease among children in the United States. If left untreated, it can negatively affect a child's physical and social development, as well as their school performance.

Our Summer Reading Program has begun, and we’re off to a great start! We have movie matinees on Mondays at 2 p.m., performers on Tuesdays at 11 a.m., come & go craft time for ages 4-12 are on Wednesdays from 3 – 5 p.m. while supplies last, and Tween/Teen Time is on Thursdays at 3 p.m.
