WILMER – The City of Wilmer has set its date for this year’s Fall Festival.

With a successful Taste of Pioneer Days last month now on the books for 2021, the city has designated Oct. 29 as the Fall Festival date to be held at City Hall Square from 6 to 8 p.m.

Wilmer has held a Fall Festival in the past, but due to last year’s pandemic and the cancellation of events around the county, state and country, the city did not host the festival in 2021.

This year Wilmer Mayor Sheila Petta said “The city is delighted to announce its annual fall festival taking place Oct.r 29,” said Wilmer Mayor Sheila Petta.

“Our Taste of Pioneer Days was such a success and we appreciate all who joined. The Fall Festival is one more way we want to thank our citizens for being part of this great city. What better way to do that than come together and enjoy the changing of the season and the camaraderie among the residents of Wilmer.”
