The True Texas Project will be hosting a Legislative Recap of the 87th Session with Lt. Colonel (Ret) Allen West and other Representatives at 5:45 p.m. dinner ($5) and 6:30 to 8 p.m. meeting at Waxahachie Civic Center, 2000 Civic Lane, Waxahachie. No RSVP, dues or membership required.

Ellis County GOP Training/Education Monthly Series begins at 9 a.m. to noon at the Griffin Pavilion, 1002 W. Red Oak Road, Red Oak topic is Electioneering Do’s and Dont’s.
Guest presenter is Bill Eastland with an emphasis on influencing election results.

Ellis County GOP’s inaugural Speedway to Freedom Festival at the Texas Motorplex Speedway in Ennis will host a classic car show, BBQ cookoff, kids zone and silent and live auction.
