ELLIS COUNTY – Weather permitting, the Texas Department of Transportation is expected to open the new US 287 bridge at Walnut Grove between Midlothian and Waxahachie this week.
Southbound lanes were opened on Tuesday, and Northbound lanes will open on Friday, April 16.
The intersection under the new bridge will service Walnut Grove and Plainview roads. This project is part of the US 287 at Walnut Grove interchange project.
