LOCAL STUDENT UPDATE: May 26, 2022

Ethan Brazell of Ennis received a Bachelor of Business Administration in information systems & leadership and ministry from Harding University.

Maria Toker of Waxahachie and Rustin Rushing of Midlothian achieved the Dean’s List at Belmont University for the Spring 2022 semester.

Dustin Robinson of Ennis was named to Southern New Hampshire University’s Winter 2022 Dean’s List.

Southern New Hampshire University also congratulates the following local students on being named to the Winter 2022 President’s List: Amy Ausmus of Waxahachie, Anya Stewart of Midlothian, Brandy Gospodarek of Waxahachie, Megan Wilborn of Ennis, Antonio Rosito of Midlothian and Theresa Rahimian of Waxahachie.

Local students graduating from the University of Mississippi in May 2022 include: Madelyn Duvall of Waxahachie who majored in Art and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Liberal Arts; Harris Milson of Midlothian who majored in Sport and Recreation Administration and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sport and Recreation Administration from the School of Applied Sciences, and Kelly Rowe of Waxahachie who majored in Criminal Justice and earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the School of Applied Sciences.

Nick Pollard of Midlothian graduated with a Fire Technology Certificate –  Basic Fire Academy from South Plains College.

Caela McGee of Glenn Heights was named to the spring 2022 Dean’s List at the University of Saint Mary.

Grayson Guttmann of Waxahachie was recently initiated into the University of Alabama at Birmingham Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society.

Carrie Boyd of Waxahachie was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, at the University of North Texas.

Macy Gordon of Waxahachie graduated from Dixie State University.

Marshall Bates of Midlothian, a student studying for an AA in Psychology has been awarded South Plains College’s Student Life Spirit Award.

Daniel Trainor of Midlothian was recently named to the President’s List at Benedictine College for the spring semester, which ended May 10, 2022.
