LOCAL STUDENT UPDATE: March 9, 2023

RubyLaine Walker of Ennis and Haley Conrad of Midlothian were named to the University of Mississippi’s Fall 2022 Honor Roll.

Kathryn Purdy and Elizabeth Schmidt of Midlothian, Abbi Melton of Ovilla, and Kathryn Hammonds of Waxahachie were named to the Fall 2022 Dean’s List at the University of Arkansas.

Josh Blanks of Midlothian was named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2022 semester at Grove City College.

The following students graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University during the fall commencement ceremony held Dec. 10: Garrett Kelly of Ennis; Courtney Harper, Victoria Kelley, Rebecca Lipsius, Kourtney Phillips and Lauren Roach of Midlothian; Brayden Allen, Hailey Allen, Will King, Megan Lambert, Adam Lewis-Lamb and Justin Pietrzak of Waxahachie.

The following students were named to the Spring 2022 Dean’s Honor Roll at Abilene Christian University: Candace Lewis of Italy; DC Carruthers, Renee Elliott, Matthias Schrock and Adrienne Schumacher of Midlothian; Rachel Cruzan of Palmer; Johnni Fuller, Colton Jakubik, Andrew Leach, Makayla Marquez and Will Morgan of Waxahachie.
