Story Time for preschool children is held every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Children are treated to stories, fun activities, and a snack.

After-School Game Time for ages 7 through 17 is held every Thursday from 3:30 – 5 p.m. Kids may play board games or the PS5 on the large screen.

NEW BOOKS: “Crook Manifesto” by Colson Whitehead, “A Twisted Love Story” by Samantha Downing, “After death” by Dean Koontz, “Seventy Times Seven: A True Story of Murder and Mercy” (Dewey 364) by Alex Mar, and “The Last Ride of the Pony Express: My 2,000-Mile Horseback Journey into the Old West” (Dewey 917) by Will Grant.

BOOK BLURB: “Crook Manifesto” by Colson Whitehead released August 2023. The two-time Pulitzer Prize winner and bestselling author of “Harlem Shuffle” continues his Harlem saga in a powerful and hugely entertaining novel that summons 1970s New York in all its seedy glory.

The library is located at 301 E. 10th St., across from Mutz Ballpark. Library staff may be reached at ferrislibrary@ferristexas.gov or (972) 544-2110, Option 9.
