FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (July 30, 2020)

THE FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

In order to minimize the impact of the Covid-19 virus, the library is closed to the public until further notice. All programs and room rentals will be cancelled.

Assistance can be obtained by phone (972) 904-1788 and/or email kathyharrington@ferristexas.gov during normal operating hours.

And all returns (books & DVDs) are being accepted through the outside receptacle.

FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY CURBSIDE PICKUP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place an item on reserve – Visit our website at ferristexas.gov. Click e-services then “Library On-Line Search” sign in with your library card number and last name as password. Browse & reserve items. 

2. Wait to receive a notification – When your items are ready for pickup, you will receive an email notification. Pickup available only during Curbside hours.

3. Drive to the library then call us from your car – Call the library when you arrive. Confirm your name and library card number. We will check out your items. 

4. Pick up your items on the table at the library entrance – Staff with bundle your items with a receipt and place on a table outside the library doors for contact-less pickup.

Monday & Tuesday: 1:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Thursday & Friday: 9 – 1 p.m.

All returned items are quarantined for 72 hours and sanitized before check out.
