Join the Ferris Public Library on Thursday, Feb. 6, to celebrate National Take Your Child to the Library Day!
Libraries nationwide participate in this special day by offering exciting and free activities for families to enjoy together. Children 16 and younger who come in this day can sign up for a free library card, regardless of their address. A parent or guardian must be present and have a valid ID or driver’s license. Stop in for a visit, enjoy the activities, get a library card (they’re free for the kids!), meet your librarians, and explore all the wonders that we have to offer your family.
Be sure to stop in again soon – because every day is a great day to take your child to the library.
STORY TIME is hosted every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Children are treated to stories, fun activities, and a snack. Before leaving, your child may choose a prize from the treasure chest to take home.
AFTER-SCHOOL GAME TIME is held each Thursday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Children can play the PS5 on the large screen in the meeting room and board games are also available.
