WILMER – Griffin Partners, a  Houston developer, plans to build a $34-million two-building warehouse and distribution project in Wilmer.

The development at Interstate 45 and Pike Road, called Port 45,  will contain more than 560,000 square feet, according to planning documents filed with the state.

The project is set to start this summer and will open in May 2023.

According to published reports, Richardson-based Alliance Architects designed the new industrial park.

Griffin Partners, formed in the late 1990s, has commercial real estate projects in six states, including a new warehouse development in suburban Houston.

They also own an office tower in Addison and previously had a Plano building.
