FORNEY — Senior Devion Beasley had three touchdowns to lead Ennis over North Forney in District 8-5A Division II at CityBank Stadium.
Beasley scored two rushing touchdowns and scored on a blocked punt return. Jackson Gilkey connected with T.T. Cox on a 44-yard touchdown pass for Ennis (6-0, 3-0) midway through the first quarter. Gilkey finished with 205 yards passing and two touchdowns.
North Forney (1-5, 0-3) got on the scoreboard just before halftime when Ryan Sanders scored on a 10-yard run. Deshaun Brundage had a 2-yard touchdown run and finished with 131 yards on 25 carries.
