NORTH RICHLAND HILLS — Jordon Richburg rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns to lead Midlothian (2-2, 1-0 District 4-5A I) over Birdville (2-2, 0-1) at the Birdville Fine Arts Complex.
Midlothian rolled up 388 yards rushing. The defense limited Birdville to 203 total yards and eight first downs. It also forced five punts and blocked one field goal attempt.
Midlothian’s L.J. Adeniran finished the night with 64 yards rushing and scored two touchdowns. Kaden Smith pitched in 66 yards rushing on eight carries.
Birdville’s Aiden Dollar finished with 172 total yards, including a 64-yard touchdown run. Triston Johnson finished with four receptions for 30 yards.
