Duncanville holds on to beat Waxahachie 35-27, moves on to Division 1 semifinal against Allen

MIDLOTHIAN – Duncanville withstood a furious fourth-quarter rally to beat District 11-6A rival Waxahachie 35-27 in Saturday’s Class 6A Division I Region II final at a packed Midlothian ISD Stadium.

Duncanville avenged a 28-27 loss to Waxahachie on Sept. 19, a game in which Waxahachie rallied from a 27-9 third-quarter deficit and cost Duncanville the outright district title.
