MIDLOTHIAN – Argyle receiver Julian Caldwell caught four long touchdowns from Maguire Gasperson in a win.

On the first play from scrimmage, Gasperson connected with Caldwell for a 62-yard score. The teams traded possessions until Caldwell caught a 59-yard touchdown pass from Gasperson with 6:05 in the second quarter.

Caldwell finished with 10 receptions for 259 yards.

Midlothian Heritage’s defense was led by linebacker Maddox Aldape, whose sack of Gasperson in the first quarter resulted in a turnover on downs. Another sack in the second quarter forced Argyle (1-1) to punt.

Midlothian Heritage (0-2) scored on a 13-yard pass from Bryaden Newman to Brayden Abila in the third quarter.

Gasperson and Caldwell continued their attack in the third quarter on touchdown passes of 45 and 35 yards to build a 28-0 lead. Gasperson went 16 of 26 for 345 yards and four touchdowns.
