OPINION: A sickness spreads

  After the assassination of Charlie Kirk, podcaster Candace Owens turned her wrath on Mr. Kirk’s widow, Erika. Owens began perpetuating conspiracy theories about Mrs. Kirk with a heavy implication that Mrs. Kirk was somehow tied to Israel, which itself was tied to Mr. Kirk’s assassination.

OPINION: Lawyers sue for higher prices

  You aren’t going to believe the latest lawsuit fad in America: suing companies as monopolistic for “cutting” prices to consumers.  In legal mumbo jumbo, this is called “predatory pricing” – keeping prices “lower” than charged by competitors.

OPINION: There must be more

  In Western Civilization, Christian ethics still, in some ways, dominate society. Murder is wrong. Stealing is wrong. Lying is wrong. Iran is dominated by Shiite Muslims who, at heart, embrace Taqiyya, or religious dissimulation, in ways Sunni Muslims tend to reject.

OPINION: Will Republicans lose the midterms?

  On one of his recent shows, Bill Maher stated (and later posted on X), “Democrats are not going to win the midterms. Republicans are going to lose it.” In response, Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) asked on X, “(1) Is he right? (2) Why?” OK, Senator, I’ll give this a shot.
