LETTER TO THE EDITOR: “We are proud of The Ellis County Press”

Dear Mr. Hatfield:

This is to ‘follow-up’ on a previous memo/letter of comment I sent you a few months ago.

I had commented that the photos and write-ups of criminals plastered on the front page of every copy of the paper was not exactly appealing in the idea of welcoming others to Ferris.

I was concerned that it did not look good for Ferris.

I noticed during the past months the photos and write ups on the criminals have been dismissed.

What an awesome facelift!!!

You and your staff have done such a marvelous job on our paper. The articles are so interesting to read. Plus they are encouraging and uplifting, always on point, informative, the colored ink is brilliant! The layout and organized sections look professional.

The writers on your staff there really do write some of the most on phenomenal pieces I have ever read. You PRINT some of the truest, focal points of today’s better mind set I have ever read and supported and stood for.

I believe I can speak for MANY who agree with ALL of your articles – this includes the better people of all races and societies. Your political views and religious beliefs are “right on.”

Keep up the good work. We love our people and our upstanding quality paper! Your paper stands for and reflects the good citizens and community – in an uplifting manner!
