DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: Wondering,“If the majority believes a lie does it become a truth?”

The real threat to our democracy lies in misinformation

This week, I am going to use a phrase that I have been hearing ad nauseum, and it is just one more example of how impressionable people are when they act and speak.

I am going to do a “deep dive” – a “nose dive” into a topic that might make you think about what has happened the past few years in our country and actually around the world.

I recently watched a show – I think it had to do with the CIA and methods they use.

It described how manipulation of information occurs.

It stated how the “powers that be” are aware that with so many people involved in situations there is no way to maintain secrecy.

Instead, it takes the angle of “most people do not want to believe in faked events so there is a deflection with false reasoning.”

Sure, there are leaks and many people know the truth, others find out the truth, but that does not matter, because total secrecy is not necessary.

All that is necessary – is the majority believe the lie.

It said the CIA learned a long time ago that most people will follow the majority no matter where it goes.

Intelligence only needs to manufacture the story for the majority of the people to believe.

In fact, many people do not even need to believe something, they only need to be told that a majority of people believe it and that is enough to stop them from acting on their own beliefs or suspicions.

It stated, “The government creates a majority opinion and publishes it then most people believe it only because they saw it published. Even if they do not share the opinion, they believe they are in the minority and therefore they say nothing.”

Those that know the truth are ridiculed for attempting to point out the majority is not believing the truth.

That revelation was shocking.

I have seen it happen – we all have seen it, haven’t we?

Get the vaccine to save your granny, seriously?

There is this thing called emotional manipulation too – look it up.

It seems the world has come out of its disinformation coma over the last months though.

However on Oct. 15, Biden decided to extend the COVID-19 public health emergency to Jan. 11, 2023.

It’s like a bad boyfriend that you cannot get out of the house.

Let us not forget this same world leader (ours) was on “60 Minutes” a month ago announcing “the pandemic is over.”

He was just kidding, I guess.

At a recent press conference of the European Parliament those authorities were outraged.

I believe the words “Corruption is power without accountability” was bandied around, however what was really making the scene was the fact the CEO of Pfizer had said he would be present in the European Parliament in a special committee to investigate what happened during COVID – and then he was absent.

He sent a representative instead. Apparently, that representative was, “Unable, incapable or unwilling to answer many of the questions.”

Let me just tell you this, I have been to Europe, and I lived in France.

DO NOT MESS with the Europeans when they get angry, no way!

As an aside, the Moderna CEO did show up to answer questions, and it was noted he attempted to be transparent, even if all the answers were not available.

Back to Pfizer, by now everyone knows that company’s representative recently admitted the “vaccine was never tested for preventing transmission.”

Now the European Public Prosecutors Office has confirmed there is an “ongoing investigation” underway into the “acquisition of COVID-19 vaccines in the EU.”

Seems some people want to know more about the Pfizer COVID-19 supply deal in Europe and how authorities ended up striking a massive supply deal with the drugmaker and its partner BioNTech for up to 1.8 billion doses.

Back to the accountability thing – well, that is going to come with people standing up against untruths. Untruths they have researched and found to be inaccurate (back to the untruths opening of this editorial).

That is why it is so important to do your own research – do not even trust mine – and do not always trust the mainstream news outlets (remember last week’s column about who owns a majority of the news outlets)?

And in other news, here are additional tidbits to investigate this week.

Did you know last week the FBI Headquarters in Washington DC had explosions going off – this is not a conspiracy theory.

There were people filming the explosions and the FBI released a statement.

The FBI statement blamed a “pressure relief valve” for the frightening “bangs at headquarters” according to WUSA9 on Oct. 13.

FYI, it was more than a “few bangs” as recorded on the video.

Did you know a Russian nuclear submarine armed with the “doomsday” weapon has suddenly gone missing from its Arctic Harbor.

How does a submarine go missing?

NATO has warned members that Russia’s Belgorod submarine “no longer appeared to be operating out of its White Sea Base.”

The idea is possibly true or possibly meant to stir up a distraction, so we miss what is really going on – either way, I doubt the little underwater vessel with what are called “Poseidon” weapons including a drone equipped with a nuclear bomb has merely been taken out for a joy ride.

And here is one from the past, something I have seen before, but confirmed. Did you know the morning of 9/11, then president “W” was sitting in a classroom full of children in Florida who were being instructed to sound out the words “Kite hit steel plane must,” I am STILL trying to work that one out.

You cannot make this stuff up.
