DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: The Texas border crisis is a real thing, so when are we going to do something about it?

The real threat to our democracy lies in misinformation

So, unless you have been living with your head deeply buried in the sand, you know there is a major border crisis going on in the southern part of United States.

One of those southern states feeling the chaos is Texas.

To that end, I thought this week I would bring my Down the Rabbit Hole column eerily close to home since it was recently reported said border crisis is bringing in tons of fentanyl, and children who are being trafficked around the country.

I began writing this column 34 weeks ago when Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sent 50 migrants to Martha’s Vineyard. That was just the beginning

Last week I heard 85,000 children have been lost so let’s get into that first.

Kat Cammack, a US Congresswoman from Florida reported Operation Lone Star has confiscated 361 million lethal doses of fentanyl, and that does not include Border Patrol or CBP confiscations.

Alabama US Representative Barry Moore in a hearing asked Yuma, Arizona Sheriff Leon Wilmot if the border crisis is creating slaves in America, and the Sheriff said “correct.”

Moore said, “So the Democrats who accuse us of all the awful things we do they are actually enforcing policies that are creating slaves in this country?”

Wilmot said, “It is leading to that right now.”

Regarding Fentanyl, Moore said in Alabama he was told in Birmingham they had seized enough Fentanyl to kill every man, woman, and child in the entire state. Moore also found the price to come across the Southern border now ranges from $6,000 to $15,000. Wilmot said that was the cost in Yuma – and the cartel gets that money.

Other countries are coming with different prices, and Moore pointed out the price to get the Chinese nationals across like the ones seized at the Texas border was $80,000 each.

Moore then asked if they don’t have the money, what is the option for them to come?

Sheriff Wilmot said then they becomes indentured servant and slaves being sent to a certain location, and the sheriff has found pieces of paper on the border that lists the locations they will be going to work off their debt.

Fox News issued a report (and yes, it is mainstream so buyer beware) from the New York Post (owned by News Corp with three of their top nine shareholders being...

You guessed it – the Vanguard Group, SSgA Funds Management and Black Rock Fund Advisors: www.marketscreener.com/quote/stock/NEWS-CORPORATION-13439787/company) stating the White House is secretly flying planes packed with underage migrants across the country – from Texas to New York during the night.

Where are these children going? 85,000 lost children are a lot of children to lose.

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing a Health and Human Services whistleblower, Tara Lee Rodas testified on unaccompanied children. She said children are working overnight shifts at slaughterhouses, factories, restaurants to pay the debt for smugglers and traffickers and are also sold for sex.

And added whether intentional or not, the United States Government has become “the middleman in a large scale multi-billion dollar child trafficking operation that is run bad actors seeking to profit off of the life of children.”

It was chilling to hear her stories.

It is also disturbing to learn that in the agencies these whistleblowers are being fired for asking questions and raising alarms.

These 85,000 children have been lost because these children were placed with sponsors who are not responding to calls (do you wonder why, read above again).

We have also heard these migrants after being sent to other states besides the border states are being given hotel rooms, airline tickets and phones.

Does anyone remember when the New York migrants were angry because they were being moved out of their luxury hotel.

A few weeks ago, a woman, an American citizen wondered with some anger why Americans are having to pay top dollar for rent these days, yet those crossing the border are getting free phones, homes, and plane tickets.

Let’s all as Americans wonder that same thing.

Hey Joe, what’s your next best idea?

This one seems to be on a scale of 1 to 10 a negative 1000.

SO NOW WHAT?

I will say www.politifact.com/factchecks/2022/apr/14/facebook-posts/claim-about-sma... reported the smartphones being used by migrants are not enabled for personal use and cannot make phone calls or browse the internet. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcements has been using a smartphone application since 2018 to track immigrants detained and released by the agency after entering the country illegally according to this article as well as a note that ICE will give a smartphone loaded with the application to immigrants who do not have their own devices.

You do the research on that, that is a lot of smartphones and a lot of people, and I am certain the cartel has ample funds to help the people they are pushing over here to do it as quickly and as easily as possible.

Wait until Title 42 goes away next week. What is that you ask? It was a federal pandemic-era policy allowing officials to kick millions of people back to Mexico.

Not after May 11 when the title expires.

According to the New York Post https://nypost.com/2023/04/30/el-paso-to-issue-new-state-of-emergency-as... El Paso, Texas has declared a new state of emergency since the border facilities have reached capacity due to migrants flooding in from Mexico before Title 42 expires.

El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser said the city could “buckle under the pressure of thousands of migrants seeking aid, with more expected to come.”

Now they are pouring in 1,000 people a day arriving at the border and officials predict 10,000 to 12,000 migrants will try to seek asylum at the border on May 11.

US Customs and Border Protection said that as of Saturday, more than 20,500 migrants were in custody along the southern border, with nearly 7,000 caught in the Rio Grande Valley sector alone.

There have also been about 7,000 daily encounters in late April, with CBP officials warning the number will rise in the coming weeks.

So, what does good ‘ol Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas have to say about all this?

Not much as he stutters, and stammers evading just about every question during congressional hearings.

According to https://www.heritage.org/homeland-security/commentary/yes-its-joe-biden-... Mayorkas is calling this a “situation.”

That is all he can muster about a historic crisis at the southern border of this magnitude.

At https://www.politico.com/f/?id=0000017f-d8bd-d522-ab7f-debd59400000 to shorten the details it said that U.S. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz anticipated the U.S. will easily hit one million encounters with migrants attempting to illegally cross our Southern border since October. The Department of Homeland Security Office of Intelligence anticipates as many as one- million immigrants could cross the Southern Border in six weeks with Title 42 rescinded.

Did you know in his first 100 days in office, Biden took more than 94 executive actions on immigration including end the construction of the border wall; attempting to halt deportations for 100 days; suspending new enrollments in Migrant Protection Protocols; terminating Asylum Cooperative Agreements with Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador; and ending Prompt Asylum Case Review for non-Mexicans, and Humanitarian Asylum Review Program for Mexicans.

SHOULD I SAY THE QUIET PART OUT LOUD?

It has been insinuated that migrants crossing over, these cities that are allowing non-Americans to vote, these thousands of people getting lost in our country because “what is their political party going to be?” (asking for a friend?)

How is this going to affect our politics (asking for another friend?)
Did you ever think that this country of ours could be imploding from within? We don’t need someone to take over because our government in many regards is giving it away. Did the American people okay this? We are in charge. The government works for us.

I suspect Biden had to do something about the border crisis although it remains to be seen what, since he thinks he is going to run again in the next presidential.

And ‘ol Hillary has got him pegged as a winner. After all this!
