DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: All the world’s a stage as we head into 2024 – are we enjoying the show?

The real threat to our democracy lies in misinformation

I hope everyone is having a peaceful season as we end 2023.

I have decided the Christmas gift to my readers this year is going to be some facts I recently uncovered.

Look at it as a gift you can either accept or not, I still think it is important that you know.

It seems increasingly obvious mainstream media just does not want to share vital information these days.

This gave me pause to think when I read it:

1960s: it was said the oil will be gone in 10 years – NOPE.

1970s: another ice age in 10 years – NOPE.

1980s: acid rain will destroy all crops in 10 years – NOPE.

1990s: the ozone layer will be gone in 10 years – NOPE.

2000: the ice caps will be gone in 10 years – NOPE.

None of this happened, but it did result in higher taxes, didn’t it, and a step closer to tighter control?

I am sure everyone already knows the Federal Reserve is not Federal. It has shareholders and the shareholders are the banks themselves.

So, this is a regulated body controlled by the entities that are regulating? Doesn’t that seem like a conflict of interest?

As noted, “The Federal Reserve System is an independent central bank. It is so, however, only in the sense that its decisions do not have to be ratified by the President or anyone else in the executive branch of the government.”

Okay, so these shareholders/Board of Governors who and where are they?

Well, they are in Washington, D.C. and seven members run the Federal Reserve System, or “governors.”

These governors are nominated by the POTUS and confirmed in their positions by the U.S. Senate.

So, the president decides who will be sitting on the Board of Governors and even though the Federal Reserve does not answer to the Executive Branch they are appointed by that branch.

Do you not think there is a method to that madness – read between the lines?

There was an interesting conversation I heard recently between Jordan Peterson (if you don’t know who he is definitely worth looking up), Bill Maher and a “woke Democrat” (not my description).

Peterson points out why we see the kind of foolishness on the university campuses these days “because people have bought this idiot meta-marxism, which is the way to look at every social relationship people have through the lens of power.

“We can put that squarely at the feet of the universities,” he said.

He says people do not have to believe that every piece of history is the “oppressor” or “oppressed.”

“Once you start thinking like that you suddenly have a lens to moralize the entire world through,” he said.

He points out how the left decides who the victims will be and, the victims are always considered morally righteous.

Take that further and the person who stands for the victim, that person is really being morally righteous regardless, negating anything else that person is doing.

Something to consider – is this how people are orienting themselves morally these days?

Here is a good one I read in passing. Volodymyr Zelensky is on course to become an American citizen.

Seriously, how much more can we take?

And he gets to live in Florida apparently.

From someone claiming to be a US Secret Service Agent (aka whistleblower) he said the US has negotiated a plan to remove Zelensky from power and bring him to the US and offer him security, a house, etc.

Pay attention to see if this one comes true.

I am suddenly struck with the reminder of Shakespeare’s “All the world is a stage” – take a step back and notice this is absolutely true.

Doesn’t this seem like a movie we have seen somewhere with all this nonsense happening these days?

And speaking of nonsense, Joe Biden and congress have reportedly spent $7 billion on electrical vehicle charging.

Two years ago, that is when this fiasco started and now how many chargers have been built.

If you guessed a big fat zero you would be right.

The 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Job Act included this bill to build a half million public charging stations across the US – a big no on that one (www.politico.com/news/2023/12/05/congress-ev-chargers-billions-00129996).

And speaking of more nonsense, last week the mayor of Boston, Michelle Wu, had a “no whites allowed Christmas party.”

She is the city’s first Asian American to sit on the Boston City Council.

The white council members apparently accidentally got the invitations to the party they were NOT invited to attend.

Hey Wu, what about that spirit of Christmas?

And the big question is did U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez aka AOC really say this?

“We need to figure out a mission to the sun in order to get samples.

“I suggest we go at night because it would probably be too hot during the day, but we will leave all that up to the scientists.”

Reuters, you know that mainstream media owned by the Woodbridge Company, with primary funding coming from the Thomas Reuter Foundation, they factchecked this one and said she did not say it.

Okay, let’s go down the rabbit hole because you know I am going to find Vanguard, BlackRock or State Street involved in the ownership of Reuters on some level.

Who are the largest shareholders of Thomas Reuters? Oh, just companies like Vanguard Group Inc., Royal Bank Of Canada, Mackenzie Financial Corp, Bank Of Montreal /can/, Fmr Llc, FIL Ltd, Jarislowsky, Fraser Ltd, Manufacturers Life Insurance Company, The, Fiera Capital Corp, and Td Asset Management Inc. the largest shareholders with 95,591,376 shares. One of those three aforementioned companies is always lurking somewhere nearby, have you noticed?

Oh, the days before news outlets spent their time fact-checking instead of reporting real news.

And that new Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson – I am still not sure what I think of him, but he recently told reporters (www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/house/zelensky-visit-johnson-capitol-ukraine-aid) after a meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky that the US was not sending any money to Ukraine until the border problem we have in our own backyard is cleaned up, and that probably would not be this year.

So, while Americans could use some cash, recently a preposterous White House request was asking Congress to send over $60 billion to Ukraine.

What a Christmas gift that would have been for Zelensky. A Christmas miracle. It is almost laughable this White House request – and now Joe Joe must worry because a lot of us are watching.

Sidenote – does this mean Zelensky will or will not be stretching out on some yacht off the coast of Florida soon?

Finally just in time for your spending spree at Christmas, oh yes, but the government is doing it for you.

Last week I saw new numbers announcing the price tag for illegal migrants. It said according to a report from the US House Committee on Homeland Security for the Housing and Care of Asylum Seekers taxpayers will now pay $451 billion per year for housing and care of illegal migrants.

Until next week, ponder on these matters remembering Shakespeare’s quip “all the world is a stage!”

And now for this week, I am exiting stage left.
