    WAXAHACHIE – Waxahachie Mayor Billie Wallace, along with the entire city council, issued a proclamation declaring Sunday, Oct. 4 as Farm Heritage Day!

    This special day gives our county an opportunity to recognize, remember, and celebrate the small family farms and farm families whose contributions helped shape Waxahachie and Ellis County.

    The Ellis County Rural Heritage Farm gratefully acknowledges this impressive proclamation awarded by the Waxahachie City Council at their meeting on Monday, Sept. 21.
