On Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, Ellis County Elections Office will join thousands of other election officials nationwide to take part in the 13th Anniversary Celebration of National Voter Registration Day.
The goal for this year’s annual National Voter Registration Day is to increase participation in the statewide and municipal elections across the country, encouraging Americans to register to vote and make their voices heard at the ballot box.

The deadline to register to vote for the Nov. 4th Constitutional Amendment Election is Monday, Oct. 6. The last day to submit a mail ballot application is Oct. 24, and early voting begins on Oct. 20. Early voting will be held at the Ferris Public Library on Thursday, Oct. 30, and Friday, Oct. 31.
STORY TIME is hosted every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Children are treated to stories, fun activities, and a snack. Before leaving, your child may choose a prize from the treasure chest to take home.
AFTER-SCHOOL GAME TIME is held each Thursday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Children can play the PS5 on the large screen in the meeting room, and board games are also available.
