ENNIS – An early morning shooting in Ennis last week left one man hospitalized.
Ennis Police responded to a shooting that occurred in the 3000 block of Cardinal Drive just before 3 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 25.
The shooting occurred due to an argument that escalated, according to Ennis PD’s Facebook page.
The victim, a male from Ennis, was not identified. He was transported to a Dallas-area hospital where he underwent surgery due to the incident.
The suspect fled the scene but was later located and apprehended with the help of local and state police.
Ennis Police are actively investigating the shooting and are unable to release any further information.
