RED OAK – Red Oak Police Chief Garland Wolf retired earlier this month and the city is looking for his replacement.

Wolf retired after 12 years as the Police Chief in Red Oak.

According to Red Oak City Manager Todd Fuller, Assistant Police Chief Marc Schroeder has been moved into the position of interim chief until a replacement is hired.

Fuller said the city has engaged a consulting firm, T2, to help provide additional support in an advisory capacity and to provide executive recruitment services.

Wolf began his career in Cedar Hill as a patrol officer. He had been in law enforcement for almost 30 years at the time of his retirement.
