The real threat to our democracy lies in misinformation
Body

As I write my column, I’m readying myself to drive up the east coast this weekend.

I realize it’s No Kings Rally weekend, and I’m waiting to see what happens.

Silly me – at first, I did not even know what “No Kings” meant, then I remembered it is “the Don’s” birthday.

From what I can tell, it seems the No Kings Rally began with the protests in LA.

And in case mainstream media forgot to show it, the protests haven’t been peaceful.

That is, unless you call throwing bricks, Molotov cocktails and burning the place down peaceful. I guess it is peaceful – if you compare it to nuclear war.

I’m going to throw out a few facts, likely mere fiction to my blue friend’s ears.

In Los Angeles, apparently the flash point began in the garment district when ICE was searching for a money-laundering operation run by the cartels.

A California sheriff discussing the mess including the messy politicians said, “We have been lied to from the very beginning. It was allowed to spiral out of control, and they’ve created this narrative that completely defies facts. The reality is law enforcement officers are being attacked, property is being destroyed in out-of-control violence for political gain.”

Fast forward to June 14.

Did you know the No Kings Rally is being funded by what the blue would consider oligarchs?

Aren’t the oligarchs a big part of the reason for the protester’s outrage? Well that and the illegal deportation narrative, because I cannot keep it straight anymore. It just seems to be about “it’s not fair,” “we are mad,” “you are taking our rights.”

If I felt that way I would be mad too, but you do know Trump is not the first man in US history to kick the illegal element out of the country.

Here are some facts, broken down kindergarten style.

Start with A for asinine that people seem to forget things so quickly.

B for Barack Obama who said, “If you plan to enter the US illegally your chances of getting caught and sent back just went up. Undocumented workers broke our immigration laws.”

The ACLU was big mad on that one. Read the 2014 ACLU article (www.aclu.org/news/immigrants-rights/speed-over-fairness-deportation-under-obama) about Obama’s opinion of due process.

C stands for Clinton – as in Bill. He said, “That is why our administration has acted aggressively to secure our borders by deporting twice as many criminal aliens as ever before.”

Billy boy passed the Illegal Immigration and Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act expediting deportation without proper due process in September 1996.

D is for DO YOUR RESEARCH.

Oh right – remember Hillary’s “If they have committed a crime deport them, no questions asked.”

Would it also be considered committing a crime if during a peaceful protest riots break out because rioters are getting paid by the oligarchs to play the role of the “toughest badass in Los Angeles.”

Craigslist’s words, not mine.

We can let that one go as not true, I guess. Even though people said on camera they were paid to protest and riot.

Some facts are too obvious to deny.

And no, just because Google says it is a lie – at this point I’m almost sure it’s the truth.

I listened to a man being interviewed who said he has a company who supplies protesters.

Sympathetically he explained, “It is challenging for them to get a good turn out to these events, so compensating people is like compensating a newscaster doing his job.”

Ah dude, are you familiar with the word “organic” and people protesting because it’s what they believe not because they’re paid to make scenes and issues bigger than they are so mainstream media can come in and report “facts.”

I know, fact checkers are working overtime to denounce all this as baseless, but when you can see it and read it from the horse’s mouth, the liars whose lips are moving should probably put some duct tape on them. I hear duct tape works for everything.

Check out https://crowdsondemand.com and https://sidehusl.com/getting-paid-to-protest for your own crowd protest needs – they can whip it together for you stat, maybe even give you a brick or two for a starter kit.

The best one so far, albeit the destruction is terrible, is the actor standing on the car in downtown LA holding a Mexican flag amid burning of cars, smoke rising, people running as if it is the apocalypse.

Having lived and worked in the LA film industry for 10+ years I thought this must be the dude’s role of a lifetime – and he didn’t even get to show his face!

And is standing on a car waving a foreign flag really protesting?

Yes, freedom is important in the United States – and so is the Constitution.

The First Amendment’s right to “peacefully assemble” does not mean in the middle of the road causing innocent bystanders to be late to work, unable to get to hospital, unable to get to school – you get it?

Not to mention it’s rude.

And here we are back to LA and the upcoming country wide No Kings Rally.

And the funding of this mess – it’s not rocket science if you’re paying attention.

The funding topic came up when JB Pritzker of Illinois, Tim Walz of Minnesota and Kathy Hochul of New York were called to testify before the House Oversight Committee.

They said they believed Trump’s decision to deploy troops to Los Angeles was to undermine sovereignty of individual states.

Florida’s Anna Paulina Luna would have none of that.

Neither did the judge in California who shut Governor Gavin Newsom down when he ruled siding with ICE and federal jurisdiction (meaning Trump’s decision to send in the big guys) was not put down.

Luna went deep into the protest funding quandary with the three governor’s beginning with Walz who filed for a $5 million earmark that $2 million went to the Hormel Institute that collaborated with the Wuhan Institute.

She also told him the Department of Homeland Security had a memo stating the Government of China considered him as a prime target for influence operations.

Names like oligarch rich kids Walmart heiress Christy Walton, George Soros’s Open Society Foundation, The Ford Foundation, The MacArthur Foundation, the Knight Foundation, The Tides Foundation (all four billion dollar globalist NGOs), The Sixteen Thirty Fund and Hansjörg Wyss/Arabella Advisors, all came up as paying for people to do their chaos for a quick buck.

Not listed above, apparently a little birdie told a friend who told a friend the riots in LA were funded by Neville Singham and the Party for Socialism and Liberation. Luna said Singham made his money “pushing communist China propaganda and became a billionaire doing it.”

The protest ICE rally’s as well as the No Kings Rally, also apparently have ties to the Chinese Progressive Association (https://cpasf.org), a pro-Maoist group.

Mentioning the National Endowment for Democracy as a No Kings Rally funder, Luna said, “There are a lot of people who don’t like billionaires but don’t mention it when Soros gets over $260 million from USAID that has reportedly been funneled into these non-profits.”

Communism, billionaires, deep state, king or no king, do the people with the knee jerk twitch realize who is pulling their strings?

Worse, now those same oligarchs who the blue people hate can hire them to openly scream, cry and behave violently like low-level paid movie extras to keep the violence going and the United States divided.
