TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Southbound I-45 narrows, ramp closes at I-30 in Dallas starting June 6

DALLAS – Weather permitting, the following closures are scheduled this weekend: 

Southbound Interstate 45 (I-45) will be narrowed, at times to one open lane, between Cesar Chavez Boulevard (just north of I-30) and Logan Street (just south of I-30) from 8 p.m. Friday, June 6 to 5 a.m. Monday, June 9 for an ongoing bridge maintenance project. 

The eastbound I-30 off-ramp to southbound I-45 will also be closed during this time. Follow signed detour. 

As a reminder, the westbound I-30 off-ramp to southbound I-45 remains closed through early July. Follow signed detour. 

Significant delays can be expected and drivers are urged to plan ahead for extra travel time or seek an alternate route.
