NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR DISPOSAL WELL PERMIT IN A NON-PRODUCTIVE FORMATION
BKV DCarbon Ventures, LLC. 4800 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, TX 76106 is applying to the Railroad Commission of Texas for a DISPOSAL WELL PERMIT to dispose of CO2 associated with oil and gas production by injection into a porous formation which is not productive of oil and/or gas.
The applicant proposes to dispose of oil and gas waste into the Ellenburger Formations in its Garza Well Number 1.
The proposed disposal well is located 2.8 miles WSW of Midlothian, Texas in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field, in Ellis County, Texas.
The fluid waste will be disposed into strata in the subsurface depth interval from 10,825 to 12,911 feet.
LEGAL AUTHORITY: Chapter 27 of the Texas Water Code, as amended, Title 3 of the Texas Natural Resources Code, as amended, and the Statewide Rules of the Oil and gas Division of the Railroad Commission of Texas.
