The Ellis County United Delegation of Special Olympics, in conjunction with the Waxahachie ISD will be hosting the North Texas Region Powerlifting Meet on Jan. 13, 2024.
The meet will be held at Robbie Howard Junior High School, 265 Broadhead Rd., Waxahachie.
Athletes from across North Texas will be represented, and it will be a qualifying meet for the Texas Winter Games to be held in Bee Cave, TX on Feb. 17, 2024.
Admission is free, with competition starting at 10 a.m.
