COMMISSIONERS APPROVE FUNNY CAR RACE AT TEXAS MOTORPLEX

ELLIS COUNTY – The Ellis County Commissioners voted unanimously to approve an action to endorse the Texas Motorplex in Ennis for a Funny Car race in April 2024.

The 2024 Funny Car Chaos will be held from April 4 to 8, 2024.

Funny Car Chaos is the largest race in the world bringing together teams and racers from around the globe in head-to-head competition.

Chaos Funny Car President Christopher Graves expressed in writing that Ennis was selected from a number of venues around the country and was deemed the best choice for a race of this magnitude.
