RED OAK – Authorities seized a large amount of drugs, along with multiple stolen vehicles and firearms last week in Ellis County, the sheriff’s office said.
About 6 a.m. Friday, deputies from the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed a narcotics search warrant in the 500 block of Maple Leaf Street near Red Oak, according to a Wednesday news release.
Officers found multiple types of drugs during the search, including a kilogram of methamphetamine, 15 grams of amphetamine and 3 grams of alprazolam, the sheriff’s office said.
They also found about $18,500 in cash drug paraphernalia and marijuana. Authorities also seized 55 firearms, including four reported stolen.
The sheriff’s office found three stolen motorcycles and two stolen vehicles.
Lauren Chambers, 35; Jon Michael Sullivan, 54; and Brad Murray Tenhagen, 55, were arrested.
Sullivan is facing multiple charges, including manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and three counts of theft of a firearm. His total bail has been set at $200,000, according to online jail records.
Tenhagen is facing one count of possession of a controlled substance, and his bail is $1,500, records showed.
Chambers is facing one count of possession of a controlled substance, adding she also had other warrants under her name. Her bail had been set at $500.
