RED OAK – A resident at Arabella of Red Oak Senior Living is in for a real treat soon.
Ms. Nancy Moore, a horse lover at heart, is going to have a surprise “Miracle Moment” at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at the 4-C Horse Stable at 1355 Ovilla Rd, in Waxahachie.
“It is a surprise for Nancy, she thinks we are just going to groom horses,” explains Megan Tobias, the Independent Living Community Relations Director at Arabella of Red Oak.
“We will have a welcome banner and Miracle Moment ribbons for everyone to wear. We will spend the morning grooming and loving on horses and then we will be going to eat lunch close by.”
Before she was a resident at Arabella of Red Oak, Nancy raised horses for fun.
She had a ranch farm of her own.
“This is her passion,” shares Megan.
“And she misses them so much.”
Nancy was chosen to be the community’s “Miracle Moment” program recipient because of her helpful and vivacious nature for life. “She has a great spirit,” Megan fondly adds.
