ENNIS – Texans Against HSR has scheduled meeting in Ennis on Sept. 14, Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Speakers begin at 7 p.m. at SPJST Lodge, 1901 E. Ennis Ave.
The meeting will feature Texans Against HSR President, Trey Duhon, and TAHSR Special Litigation Counsel Patrick McShan, along with other TAHSR Board Members.
“Amtrak and Texas Central teaming up is a partnership we can’t allow to succeed.
“We know all the reasons why this specific project is not good for Texas. We successfully eliminated Texas Central.
“Now, we need to mount an effort to make sure Amtrak and the FRA don’t pick up the pieces of TCR, take our land and resources, and then hand off the bill to us,” according to a statement issued by Texans Against HSR.
