Preliminary investigation indicates on Monday at approximately 4:16 p.m., a Ferris ISD school bus was traveling east on FM660 when a Jeep Grand Cherokee, traveling south on Newton Road, failed to yield right of way by attempting to turn left onto FM660.

The school bus and the Jeep collided at the intersection. There were 31 students on board the bus – none were injured.

Both drivers received minor injuries and were treated on the scene and released.

This is an ongoing investigation, and there is no more information at this time.
