RED OAK – Kemondre Yancy’s interception with 3:30 left to play in the game sealed the victory for Red Oak (1-0) over The Colony.
Red Oak lead by as much as 17 points. Two touchdowns in the final minute of the third quarter weren’t enough for The Colony (0-1).
Quarterback Jaylon Robinson led the Hawks with four touchdowns, 395 passing yards on 22 completions, and 56 rushing yards on 12 rushes.
The Colony’s Kamden Wesley had 108 rushing yards and a touchdown.
