On June 11, a black belt test was officiated by Sammy Hale (2nd Dan Black Belt and owner of Ferris Tae Kwon Do), Bruce Moore (Black Belt and owner of Ferris Tae Kwon Do), Kristi Shawky (8th Dan Black belt of Ferris Tae Kwon Do), and Allen Wilcox (5th Dan Black Belt of American Karate Academy of Duncanville).
The test was held at the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church of Ferris.
Also on the board were approximately 30 Black Belts from all over the State of Texas.
The black belt test was a cumulative test, where students were required to perform all requirements from white belt through black belt, followed by 15 one-minute fights.
We are proud to say that all the students passed their tests and were awarded their new ranks.
