Wilmer Town Hall allows residents to share with city leaders

WILMER – A Wilmer Town Hall meeting held early last week was a winner with Wilmer Mayor Sheila Petta moderating the meeting at Wilmer’s Community Center.

All about paving the way for success, the main topics discussed were updates and current projects from each department within the city.

“The city of Wilmer hasn’t had a Town Hall Meeting in a long time and it was a huge success,” Petta said.

“This allowed citizens to come out and hear about the successes of the city as well as updates on current projects.  

“We had the chance to listen to residents and understand what their concerns are, which gave the city a chance to offer future opportunities that will enable the city to grow and remain strong during that growth.”

Citizens attending the Town Hall meeting eagerly voiced any concerns and offering crucial feedback to the city’s leadership team. 

“We look forward to holding more Town Hall meetings on a yearly basis,” Petta concluded.
