BIRDVILLE — Quarterback C.J. Nelson ran for one touchdown and threw for another as Richland defeated Red Oak.

Richland (4-1, 1-1 4-5A-I) took control early. Richland caused four turnovers, including two interceptions by Christian Smith-Johnson. Richland scored on two drives after turnovers.
