HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL WEEK 2: Midlothian 42, Forney 13

MIDLOTHIAN — L.J. Adineran rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown to help lead Midlothian (1-1) over Forney (1-1) atDon Floyd Field.

Midlothian held Forney scoreless in the first half and only allowed 260 total yards on the night.

Midlothian running back De’ago Benson rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown. Midlothian wide receiver Xavionte Jackson caught four passes for 54 yards and two touchdowns. Kaden Smith also added 61 yards on the ground and a touchdown. As a team Midlothian rushed for 400 total yards.

Forney quarterback Jake White threw for 170 yards on 21 of 35 passing. He also threw two interceptions and one touchdown.
