WAXAHACHIE – On Saturday at approximately 2:30 p.m., Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers were called to a one vehicle crash at 122 Shoreside Trail, Waxahachie.

The preliminary investigation indicates a silver 2007 Honda Accord was traveling east on Shoreside Trail.

The impact killed the driver, Christina Titiana Errisuriz, at the scene, and five other people in the car, a 16-year-old girl, a 17-year-old girl, a 16-year-old boy, a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were all seriously injured and were all taken to area hospitals, Texas DPS officials said.

Errisuriz was on her way to get her hair colored for the first day of school, according to reports.

All of the people in the crash were from Waxahachie, except for the 17-year-old boy, from Garland, officials said.

Errisuriz failed to negotiate a curve to the right causing the Honda to drive off the left side of the roadway, strike a culvert, and come to a stop.

Each passenger sustained serious injuries, and all were taken to various hospitals in the Dallas and Waxahachie area.

The investigation is still on-going and there is no other information available at this time.
