After dropping a rare, non-district 3 game set to Kennedale HS on Tuesday Oct., 13, the Lady Hawks continued district play on Friday, Oct. 16 when they hosted Corsicana (5-7, 1-3).
A slow start to game by both teams led to a quick scoring spurt by the Lady Hawks. The Lady Hawks opened a large single digit lead then went on to win game one 25-12. Games two and 3 were near mirror images of game one with the Lady Hawks winning 25-16 and 25-12. Although the district win was nice, it was nicer to see the Lady Hawks back in their normal winning form.
The Lady Hawks next home game is Tuesday, Oct. 27 against Midlothian.
