Waxahachie gives up 5 interceptions, they lose to Arlington Lamar 19-7

WAXAHACHIE – Arlington Lamar notched its first win of the season with a road victory over Waxahachie.

Waxahachie leaned on workhorse running back Shawn Cherry to the tune of 181 yards on 31 carries but couldn’t overcome five interceptions – two in the end zone with one returned for a 100-yard touchdown by Harold West, who added a 90-yard interception return to ice the game.

Anthony Williams rushed for 65 yards and an offensive touchdown.
