FERRIS - On Sept. 11, at approximately 9:32 p.m., Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers were called to a one vehicle crash on FM 660 approximately 150 feet east of Newton Road in Ellis County.
The preliminary investigation shows that a black 2008 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling west on FM 660.
For an as of yet undetermined reason the motorcycle veered off the north side of the roadway and into the ditch.
The driver was ejected into a field.
The driver 37 year-old, Joseph Farmer, of Corsicana, was transported by air ambulance to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Dallas with injuries.
The investigation is still on-going, and there is no other information available at this time.
