After he became frustrated by TxDOT’s lack of action concerning overgrown vegetation, Ferris City Manager Brooks Williams took it upon himself to crank up a weed-eater and mow down brush along a stretch of the I-45 service road.
Williams later commented, “We refuse to be like most government entities – we aren’t about ‘doing things,’ we are about getting things done.”
