WAXAHACHIE – With 25 successful years, thousands of lives, and a bright future to celebrate, FirstLook’s annual celebration event is slated to be the biggest yet.

On Feb. 7, FirstLook is inviting the community to join in celebration of the successes, growth, and support that the organization has experienced over the last 25 years.

This year’s event will feature guest speaker, Jim Denison, Ph.D., founder of Denison Forum, trusted author and subject matter expert in areas where faith and current events intersect.

A provider of leading insight for discerning today’s news from a biblical perspective, his free Daily Article is distributed by email to thousands of subscribers around the world.

Additionally, guests will enjoy a delicious dinner paired with exciting updates on FirstLook’s 2019 impact, the organization’s journey through the last 25 years and the incredible growth in store for 2020 and beyond.

Appropriately themed “Envision 2020,” this silver jubilee is intended as a celebration of the past, with a focus on the future.

Attendees are encouraged to “envision an Ellis County where men and women are empowered to embrace life, every human life is valued, and the only choice is love.”

Explained by Donna Young, CEO of FirstLook, “Envision 2020 is the future potential and promise for the people of Ellis County when our mission of ‘leading Ellis County to embrace life by promoting best sexual health practices and providing family support in the name of Jesus Christ’ is successfully lived out each day.”

As Ellis County’s first and only no-cost sexual health and pregnancy center, First- Look has become an integral part of the community.

While that is surely reason enough to celebrate, FirstLook is positioned to expand its impact tremendously for years to come.

At the end of 2019, First- Look unveiled the results of a total rebranding, thoughtfully designed to reflect the wholistic care provided by FirstLook and embody the hope, support, and love with which their services are delivered.

The rebranding supports the upcoming expansion of FirstLook into a new 9,000 square foot center located on YMCA drive in Waxahachie, as well as an expansion of services.
