WILMER – The City of Wilmer’s Initiative to Spread Hope got an early Christmas gift from employees of truckload carrier CFI – to the tune of $2,800. The local program was one of 20 charities around the nation supported by CFI in its annual Truckloads of Treasures holiday giving campaign.

    CFI’s office is in Wilmer. Local employees there selected WISH as its charity of choice to support the program’s mission to provide low-income Wilmer-based families and their children under 12 with new toys, clothing, food and other assistance during the holidays.

    All of the funds for the Truckloads of Treasures campaign, now in its 25th year, were donated by CFI employees and the company’s independent owner-operator truck drivers.
