BRENTWOOD, TENN – YesCare, pioneer and premier provider of correctional healthcare in the United States, has been awarded the contract to provide medical, dental and pharmaceutical services at the Wayne McCollum Detention Center in Ellis County.
The agreement represents YesCare’s first medical services contract in Texas.
YesCare began providing medical services to Wayne McCollum Detention Center, which serves approximately 650 inmates, on Dec. 16, less than a month after they were awarded the contract.
YesCare negotiated and executed the contract in just 20 days, adding 10 full-time employees including a Health Service Administrator and a Director of Nursing, which more than doubled the existing staff and led to a successful contract transition.
