WILMER – The City of Wilmer will be hosting a safe way to enjoy Easter this year.
On Thursday, April 1, this year’s Easter Drive-Thru event will take place at Wilmer City Square beginning at 3 p.m.
City council and staff will be handing out treats to motorists as a way of offering a safe and fun and there will be 10 golden eggs as a surprise as well.
“The City of Wilmer is excited to host a safe and fun Drive-thru Easter event on Thursday, April 1 beginning at 3 p.m. at our City Hall square,” said Wilmer Mayor Sheila Petta. “While nothing has quite been the same this past year, please know that we are here for you and always hope to create a strong and positive environment for our residents.
Come out and join us on April 1 and meet our Easter Bunny. Also, there will be 10 golden eggs hidden for a surprise gift. We look forward to seeing you.”
Motorists are ask to keep one car length distance on the route, stay in your vehicle and follow the guided map.
